Exodraft’s chimney fan of the type RSV is designed to discharge the flue gas vertically.

RSV is best suited for solid fuel, whether it is to be mounted on the chimney of a wood-burning stove, fireplace, or boiler.

The chimney fan is placed on top of the chimney, where it creates a negative pressure in the flue pipe and chimney for optimal draft. It can be opened, making it easy for the chimney sweeper to clean the chimney. The chimney fan can be used on both brick and steel chimneys.

RSV009-016 has an axial impeller made of stainless steel, while RSV160-450 has a centrifugal impeller made of cast aluminum. RSV160-450 is typically used in larger installations where multiple fireplaces are connected to the same chimney.
